For over 25 years, we have been welcoming skiers, families, friends, and businesses to our warm mountain setting, combining raw wood, elegant decor, and the musical atmosphere for which we are renowned. Here, authenticity blends with celebration to create a unique mountain experience.

Our winter evenings are unique in the resort: festive dinners, DJ sets, live music, themed concepts such as Échappée Nocturne or Chalet Fever evenings. Come and enjoy a festive mountain restaurant, with an unbeatable après-ski atmosphere and an authentic setting.

Outside school holidays (except seminars and private events):

  •  Lunch: Tuesday through Sunday
  •  Dinner: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

During school vacations:

  •  Lunch: 7 days a week

Mountain snack bar open 7 days a week

Festive après-ski every day from noon to 5 p.m. during the winter.

Yes! We host corporate seminars, weddings, birthdays, private parties, team building events, and any other event, both in winter and off-season. 

Outside our public opening period (April to December), we offer partial or total private hire with catering, DJs, tailor-made entertainment, and mountain activities. 

Reservations can be easily made online through our partner ZenChef or by phone. 

We recommend booking in advance, especially for our themed evenings and weekends. 

We are located in La Clusaz, in the heart of the French Alps: 

  • 30 minutes from Megève 
  • 20 minutes from Le Grand-Bornand 
  • 1 hour from Geneva 
  • 2 hours from Lyon 

Accessible by car, free shuttle bus, gondola lift from the village, or on skis during the winter season (below the Crêt du Merle chairlift). 

Every afternoon in winter, our heated outdoor bar comes alive with DJ sets, live bands, and a festive atmosphere. 

À la carte: mulled wine, cocktails, beers, sharing platters, and snacks. 

Yes! Le Chalet des Praz is a unique venue for a winter or off-season wedding. 

We offer customized packages including private use of the chalet, decoration, tailor-made menus, coordination, and entertainment. 

In addition to meals and festive evenings, we organize: 

  • Moonlight snowshoe hikes
  • Supervised yooner descent
  • Summer/winter team building activities 
  • Winter season: mid-December to early April (open to the public)
  • Off-season: private events and events on request, from April 1 to December 20.

Of course, you'll find all the essentials of Savoyard cuisine: cheese fondue and tartiflette. 

But our chef also offers a wide selection of meat and fish dishes, as well as more refined dishes to satisfy all tastes. 

For dessert, don't miss our giant desserts to share, a true signature dish of the Chalet des Praz. 

Yes, of course! Our menu includes several vegetarian options. 

We can also adapt our recipes upon request when you make your reservation, to meet your dietary needs or restrictions. 

Access by car to the Chalet is limited and there are not many parking spaces available on site. 

We strongly recommend using the free village shuttle to get to our place. 

The stop is "Les Veyriers" – Line 5, which drops you off right next to the Chalet des Praz.
